  • The Ancient Road (Hærvejen)

    Before the cars and the railway, Jutland’s main road followed the water divide through the peninsula. At that time, the Ancient Road consisted of humble and narrow gravel roads. Also, it was not just one road - a network of smaller roads made up what is known today as the Ancient Road.
